Summer Camp Wrap-up

The four day summer camp wrapped on Friday, Aug. 13th and while it was hot on the sports park turf, it was a great turn out and a great start to the Ryan Moore era of Trabuco soccer! Over 60 boys participated over the four days which concluded with full field 11v11 games on both turf fields. There was an especially great turn out of in-coming freshman which bodes well for the future of the program. The coaching staff were very excited about the participation and the level of play. Coach Ryan thanked all of the boys for their attention and effort. Many players are in full swing with their club teams and one junior, Ian Farrlley, had to go play a game after two hours on the field on Friday!

Check out all of the great pictures from the last day taken by the amazing Karen Osato whose son Jimmy was a player in the program.

There was lots of enthusiasm by the players. The first two weeks of school all players should be enrolled in the Period 7 Soccer class. Coach Jake Kremer, who teaches math at THHS, will be the teacher taking attendance for the class. Training will take place at the Lake Forest Sports Park 2:30-4:00 PM every day for the first two week.

Following the first two weeks there will be an open tryout. Coach Ryan is targeting a roster size of around 60 players. The roster will be finalized by the fourth week of school.
